Uhm, hiatus... until after Graduation. It's been more difficult to be around camp at all this last year, and the last few weeks aren't looking promising either. I've been putting off posting hiatus again, because I thought I'd have time. Looks like I probably don't. But, yay, graduation.

Hiatusing for a while. I'm not so good at keeping up. I need to learn to scale back RL one of these days.

So yeah, I thought I'd do this thing here about What makes Fighter tick from a couple of perspectives. And so I did. And now I'm posting it. Yeah.

A post about what the hell time it is in Korea for Seshi and other interested parties, and to help me keep it straight because I keep forgetting and stuff.


I'm working with a 13 hour difference from my usual EST.
I'll be available mostly in the mornings and the afternoon over here. I have classes from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on the weekdays

So.

When it is between 6:00am-12:00pm over here,
It will be ....... 5:00pm-11:00pm of the previous day, On the east cost of the US.

I love my canon so, so much.

Fighter rocks my socks

Well, dorky as it sounds, I wasn't really sure what to use this here character journal thingy for, so I asked mah roomie, Kazu. I guess for now I'll just do the permissions meme thingy, since I never really did.

Name: Fighter McWarrior
Age: Late...teens?
Eyes: Canon isn't really specific 'cause of the sprite-ness and all.
Hair: Flamingly Red
Height: Probably Tall
Weight: Probably heavy, especially with all that armor.
Bloodtype: N/A
Medical info: Uh, He's gotten stabbed in the head more times than I can count, Dropped from incredible heights on several occasions, stepped on by giants, crushed by armoires, stabbed to death and ritually disembowled, and blown sky high ... But he took a nap, so it's OK now.

Can I shapeshift/bodyswitch/spit at/step on/etc?: Sure, Fighter's game. I guess you could tell from the Medical info, but Fighter's pretty resiliant. I'm not sure how he'd react to a body switch but if you want to try it, just ask me ^^.

Hugging/kissing/other non-violent physical contact: Fighter's pretty amicable, and he's definitely got no problem with non-violent physical contact. He's fairly oblivious to the personal space of others, as it is.

Fighting: Sounds like fun, when do we start?

Maim/murder/death: Okay, I guess; he's died in canon once (or twice before, and at least once in a pretty gruesome way.

What's okay to mention around him: Almost anything.

Physical traits:Bright red hair, and I figure he's fairly buff. Wears a lot of armor, and has a long flowy red cape. Usually to be found with an aura of almost blinding cheerfulness.

Abilities: Fighter might be dense and have the mental maturity of a seven-year-old, but he is a genius with a blade. As shown in canon he's nearly impervious to physical trauma, and his armor is enchanted, so he is immune to fire damage. He has his two broadswords, which he wields at the same time, and also his sword-chucks, which he wields at the same time as the two broad-swords when he gets REALLY serious. Don't ask me where he keeps it all or how he manages to fight with three weapons when he only has two hands... the world may never know. He's super strong and lighning fast when he gets into a fight. At any rate, I'd say he's probably on par with Zoro from One Piece in his own canon, and he'll at least give you a run for your money if you're not one of those ultra-super-powered or super-naturally-powered types.


Secrets: Fighter is TERRIFIED of spiders. SCARED TO DEATH. So don't, you know, get one of those creepy things anywhere near him. Also he has a sister. But she's only mentioned in one line of dialogue out of more than 800 comics. So, yeah, kinda like Kio's wife, I guess.


Cooking: Neat! There's really no canon on this subject, but I figure he probably knows how to cook a thing or two. Expect many broken dishes and spilled ingredients along the way, though. Fighter's the type to cause a lot of collatteral damage.

Well, tonight I made stew. It was the most fun I've had yet, I think (Super special awesome fun!!) . I've got a good feeling that I kept my voice during my fight with Izumi, but I'm worried I maybe gave fighter too much cognizance towards the end of the thread with Brock.

ETA: Well, now I'm thinking maybe I lost the voice a little bit with the Izumi thread ( cut for rambling on character traits )

Meh, that's pretty much it, I just need to work on the voice more, maybe.

(I'll actually get off my but and put a couple other relavent posts on this journal tomorrow, maybe.)
